EMT Charged in Deaths of Pike County EMTs

PETERSBURG, Ind.� Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Christopher M. Helsley, 23, of Petersburg, has been charged in the April 19 deaths of Pike County EMTs Marsha K. Rainey, 44, of Petersburg, and Bradley S. Maxwell, 22, of Otwell, according to a Washington (IN) Times Herald, report.Helsley, who at first denied the shootings, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on April 20 at the Jasper State Police Post. Information obtained in the investigation led to a request for the issuance of a warrant to search Helsley�s home.
