FLAME-SIM software demonstrated at FDIC 2008

Developers demonstrated FLAME-SIM, a first-of-its-kind real-time, real world 3-D firefighter training simulator, to thousands of firefighters during FDIC 2008 from April 10 to April 12. Their mission over the past 16 months was to create a useful and accurate training tool for first-arriving companies and battalions to train communication and decision-making on the fireground, and ultimately save lives.During an interview at the FLAME-SIM booth the editor of Fire Engineering magazine, Chief (ret.)
