The University of Nevada, Reno Fire Science Academy, located just east of Carlin, Nevada on Interstate 80, has the International Fog Industrial Containment System ™ installed and available for demonstration on the campus prop field.  Construction was completed and the system tested for use on August 4th, 2010.

The IFI Industrial Containment System™ was designed to help contain fires and explosions in chemical or industrial plants that manufacture, transfer, or ship, LPG, JP4, JP5 fuel, or any other petroleum products.  When installed at an industrial facility, the containment system will be connected with sensors that automatically turn on the containment system when heat or volatile gases are detected. The IFI Industrial Containment System™ will be installed in "hot spot" areas such as pump, transfer, and transmission stations. The IFI Industrial Containment System™ produces adequate protection provided the water system has a minimum water pressure of 50 PSI to a maximum of 300 PSI.
