Dear colleagues and friends:

This is an exciting era for CPR and the practice of resuscitation, both in the field and in the hospital. New ideas and energy are driving advances in training, education, medicine, advocacy and best practices—all toward the goal of improving survival from sudden cardiac arrest.

Sponsored by the Citizen CPR Foundation, in partnership with the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, ECCU 2012 is the one place all these ideas come together for educators, health care practitioners, medical directors, program managers, survivors and citizen advocates. We hope you will join some 2,000 of your colleagues at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek Resort for this landmark event.

But today we need your help! Visit the ECCU 2012 Call for Presentations for complete information about how to submit an idea, from an informal 10-minute "Best Practice Lightning Round" to a one-day workshop—and everything in between.

Our theme this year is "Go for the Gold: Become a Champion in the Race to Save More Lives." As part of our effort in going for the gold, we plan to have the largest gathering of survivors with their rescuers ever, along with and our best program yet.

Now do your part! Please take the time to submit a presentation. Whether you're a new presenter or an experienced speaker, don't miss the chance to share your ideas at one of the most important events in ECC.
