A downed tree led to the death of an elderly man in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The weight of heavy snow from this weekend’s winter storm caused the tree to fall through the man’s house and kill him instantly as he slept in a chair, according to reports from WFMZ.
It took rescue crews over one hour to get to the man after the incident since multiple trees had fallen around the residence.
