Tour Bus Crashes on NY State Thruway

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a tour bus crash involving a tractor trailer on the southbound New York State Thruway near Exit 15A. The driver of the bus was trapped and rescued. Video coverage from WNYW FOX 5. According to the New York Post, a ladder was raised to the top of the bus by firefighters to aid in removing trapped passengers. By 6:30 a.m., all passengers appeared to have been removed. The number of injured passengers was unknown. Read more about vehicle extrication operations HERE.
