As the family of a Worcester (MA) firefighter prepares for his funeral, a $5,000 reward is being offered for clues in what investigators may now believe is an arson case.
Jon Davies, 43, was killed when he entered a burning triple-decker on December 8, searching for a missing resident that other residents said might still be trapped inside the apartment house. The house collapsed on him and his partner, Brian Carroll, 50, was injured. No victim's body was found in the debris after the fire. The fire building where Davies died had numerous code violations.
