Indianapolis (IN) Firefighters Respond to House Fire

Photos and story by John M. Buckman III

Indianapolis (IN) firefighters arrived on scene at 500 N. Oxford to find a single-family dwelling well involved with fire on the first floor and fully involved on the second floor.

Aggressive interior operations contained the fire even as command was considering switching to defensive firefighting operations.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. The cause of the fire is unknown.
