
A 78-year-old man was injured after a 40-foot boat exploded at a marina on Washington's Olympic Peninsula Tuesday evening, according to a report from Boston.com.
The report indicates that the explosion broke windows, inflicted shrapnel-type damage on nearby vessels, and sank the boat. The injured man suffered burns and fractures and is believed to have lived on the boat. An undetermined amount of fuel was cleaned up by crews.
The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
