Two firefighters with a combined 50 years of service with Ocala (FL) Fire Rescue were recognized during a city council meeting held on February 7.
Firefighter Donna Shirey was hired in August 1991 and was recognized for 20 years of service. Fire Equipment Operator Gary Hamilton was hired by the fire department in 1981 and has achieved 30 years of service.
