A four-alarm fire reportedly tore through five floors of a Hoboken (NJ) building, displacing residents and causing three people to suffer smoke inhalation.

Firefighters from Hoboken, Newark, and Elizabeth responded to the Sunday morning fire, according to a New York Post report (http://nyp.st/AqdSAt), but they were still working to extinguish some fire on the roof Monday.

Residents on the upper floors were reportedly rescued by ladder from the building's roof. Reports indicate flames were at times shooting 20 feet above the roof of the mostly wood-frame buildings, which contained condos above a store.
