A Los Angeles (CA) firefighter was taken to the hospital in fair condition after suffering an unspecified injury at the scene of a commercial fire Wednesday night.

More than 125 firefighters responded to the fire at a one-story commercial structure in the San Fernando Valley, according to a Los Angeles Times report (http://lat.ms/yZhTYh).

A fire department spokesman said an aggressive attack by firefighters prevented fire from extending to adjacent buildings. The fire damaged three businesses inside the building.
