In the video below, a firefighter plunges into an icy Colorado body of water to save a dog.
According to an ABC news report (http://abcn.ws/wboReI), the 85-pound dog was chasing a coyote when the two animals fell into the icy reservoir. A West Metro Fire Department firefighter, protected by a cold-water rescue suit, navigated the frigid waters to rescue the dog, which managed to stay afloat even as the coyote disappeared into the reservoir.
The rescued canine seemed fine after the incident after being warmed in a fire department vehicle.
