AR Firefighter Killed, Two Other Responders Injured After Being Struck at Crash

One firefighter was killed and two other emergency response personnel were injured at the scene of a crash Monday in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Now police say the driver may have intentionally sped up and struck the trio, according to a KTHV report ( Jacksonville police and Jacksonville Fire Department firefighters reportedly responded to a single-vehicle accident Monday night at around 10:30 p.m. The vehicle had left the roadway and struck a gas main. A police officer and two firefighters were working at the scene when a van left the roadway and struck them.
