Firefighter Fatality Report Released on WI Theater Fire LODD

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recently released a report on the death of a volunteer firefighter following the collapse of a bowstring roof at theater fire in Wisconsin earlier this year. Two other firefighters were also injured in the fire at the historic Abby Theatre in Abbotsford. On March 4, 2012, a 34-year-old male volunteer lieutenant lost his life at a theatre fire after the roof collapsed, trapping him inside the theatre.
