Nashville (TN) - A family of four was displaced from their home early Friday morning after a fire ripped through their north Nashville home.
The fire started shortly after 2 a.m. in the den of the home in the 4500 block of Winston Road, near the Clarksville Highway.
Officials said the family awoke to smoke alarms sounding and escaped unharmed.
The fire went up the wall, creating extensive damage. It was not immediately clear what started the fire.
