Firefighting News: Six People Injured in CA House Fire

Six people were injured in and two dogs killed in a large house fire Monday in Merced, California. The fire broke out shortly before 6 a.m., according to a report from the local ABC affiliate (http://bit.ly/14RWlUA). It took firefighters about one hour to extinguish the flames. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the house fully engulfed in flames. Six people were taken to the hospital with burn injuries and smoke inhalation; a report from KSEE (http://bit.ly/10HMuDX) indicates that three of these victims are in critical condition.
