Firefighter News: Two Girls Killed in Quebec House Fire; Two Other People Injured

Two young sisters were killed in a Quebec (Canada) fire yesterday that also injured two other people. A man and a 12-year-old girl were in critical condition following the fire in Thurso, according to CBC News (http://bit.ly/XT9Rd1). The two-story home was ablaze when firefighters and other responders made it to the scene of the fire, which was called in around 5 a.m. Firefighters continued to battle the fire for more than three hours later from outside. Parents were able to get four children out of the home, but two were trapped in an upstairs bedroom. The father reportedly used a ladder to try to accessed the trapped children.
