Firefighting News: Injured PA Firefighter Returns Home

A Lancaster city (PA) firefighter left rehab and returned home three months after being badly burned in a fire that killed two people. Lieutenant Andre Kelley left the rehab hospital Wednesday morning, the Intelligencer Journal reported (http://bit.ly/10I5Nbj). A procession of firefighters from various municipalities led Kelley back home. Kelley suffered burns on 40 percent of his body when he entered a burning home in hopes of rescuing two trapped residents during a February fire. He has undergone extensive rehab and a series of skin grafts to repair the damage he sustained in a flashover on the fireground.
