Firefighting News: SC Firefighter Conscious and Speaking After Wreck

A North Charleston (SC) firefighter critically injured in a wreck at an accident scene on June 8 is now conscious and speaking. Engineer Darin Kingery after being struck by an allegedly drunk driver, according to WCSC (http://bit.ly/1afeRgJ). Kingery has undergone several surgeries since the accident, including the amputation of his right leg below the knee. Kingery is still in intensive care but is listed in stable condition.
