MD Firefighter Suffers Minor Burns in House Fire

From Forest Hill (MD) - A Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company (BAVFC) firefighter suffered minor burns as fire burned through a home in Forest Hill shortly after midnight Tuesday morning, the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office reported. The fire occurred in a single-story, wood-frame home in the 200 block of Marshall Drive. It was reported just before 12:25 a.m., the Fire Marshal's Office said. The fire, which started in the basement, caused an estimated $250,000 damage to the dwelling and $50,000 to its contents, according to the Fire Marshal's notice of investigation.
