State Police Investigating Death of IL Chief

From By Sam Smith Elizabethtown (IL) - Police are investigating the death of Elizabethtown Fire Department (EFD) Chief Tim Dillard. The 45-year-old was found dead Tuesday night in his home. Dillard had been fire chief for about six months. He also owned a business in Gallatin County, and his employees are shocked at the news. Brandon Gibbons worked for Dillard for about 18 months. It was just after 7 p.m. Tuesday when he got a call from a co-worker. He says Dillard opened his shop, Dillard Tarp Systems, nearly a decade ago. While running the business, Dillard volunteered with the EFD and worked his way up to become chief. Read more and watch video HERE
