Firefighting News: Chicago Fire Lieutenant Honors Firefighter Who Saved Him as a Child

Chicago (IL) Fire Fire Lieutenant Rick Vega will stand honor guard during the wake of late Firefighter Eddie Groya. In 1963, Groya, a member of Truck 44, saved the life of Vega, who was five-years-old at the time, from an apartment fire. Vega went on to become a member of the same truck company as Groya.
