Fire Service Industry News: Decommissioned FDNY Rescue 5 Rig Returns to NY

The Remembrance Rescue Project, a not-for-profit organization leading a national campaign for 9/11 education and remembrance for all fallen firefighters, has partnered with the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund to bring the Rescue 5 Fire Truck, which responded to the September 11th terrorist attacks, back to New York for the first time since it was decommissioned in 2011.  The truck will be an integral piece of the Bikers for Bini Event being held on August 25th from 11am-6pm at The Staten Island Mall.
