Firefighting News: PA Fire Department Headquarters, Homes Burn

A fire destroyed two homes and the headquarters of the Mt. Carbon (PA) Fire Company today. Firefighters received an early morning call for a dwelling fire and arrived to find that flames in an unoccupied building had spread to a nearby home, according to a report from The Republican Herald (http://bit.ly/15MRQ3W). The fire then extended to the fire company's building. One firefighter suffered an injury and was taken to an area medical facility for treatment. Mount Carbon firefighters were able to get two of their vehicles out of the station before fire engulfed the back of the building.
