Three Chicago firefighters are hurt on the scene of a fire on the city's South Side, reports WLS-TV Chicago.
The fire happened around 6:30 Saturday morning in the 6700 block of South Emerald in the Englewood community.
The fire broke out in the basement of the wood frame home.
Two of the firefighters suffered first- and second-degree burns and one suffered from heat exhaustion.
While two of the injured firefighters have been treated and released, a third remains hospitalized.
