Firefighting News: Fort Meyers (FL) Firefighters Injured at Overnight Fire

Two Fort Meyers (FL) firefighters were hospitalized after being injured at a fire. WINK (http://bit.ly/KPO4NA) reports that part of the roof collapsed and fell on firefighters responding to a house fire at 2746 Blake Street off Palm Avenue. One firefighter suffered a broken clavicle, while the other has a broken hip. Battalion Chief David Tilton said he believed the firefighters' protective gear helped save their lives.
