Fireground Safety Tips

By Thomas N. Warren The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) released its annual Firefighter Injuries in the United States report in October 2013. The report identifies where, how, the types of injuries, that firefighters suffered in the calendar year 2012. It also provides a detailed analysis of the deaths and injuries suffered by firefighters as well as some recommendations to improve firefighter safety. The final analysis indicates that there were a total of 69,400 firefighter injuries in the line of duty in 2012.
