Hi boys and girls!  Welcome to Sparkles’ Kids Zone on Firelife.com!

Do you like fire truck parades? The fire safety dogs went the 9th Annual Johnson County Fire Safety Awareness Parade in Clarksville, Arkansas. Fire departments and other emergency vehicles participated in this annual event down Main Street. It was soooo much fun!

Johnson County RFD #1 Fire Corps members, students from the University of the Ozarks Phi Beta Lambda organization, carried their smoke alarm props, helping share that smoke alarms save lives!
Fire trucks from RFD #1 led the parade. This is called a “Tanker” truck. This truck helps carry water to fires in rural areas.
Lots of fire trucks, including this one from the Knoxville (TN) Fire Department, participated in the parade.
