Outside Vent Firefighter: A Critical Role

BY THOMAS JACKSON The outside ventilation (OV) firefighter is often an underused and unassigned position in a lot of smaller, often understaffed departments. This beneficial position is often misunderstood. Below, I will focus mainly on the OV firefighter operating at one- and two-family dwellings.
