Fire Yenta July 2004
By Diane Feldman, Managing Editor
Largest service dog day in the world
Plan now to attend the Third Annual Search & Rescue and Service Dog Day on September 18, 2004, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum in New York City. The event will showcase all kinds of service dogs with an emphasis on search and rescue and federal service K-9s. It is hosted by the Bear Search and Rescue Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds training and equipment for search and rescue dogs and health care for dogs that served on 9-11. For more information, contact Scott Shields (safetyshields@hotmail.com).
