Drill of the Week: Self-Survival Skills Training

Middle

In order to reduce line of duty injuries and deaths, the fire service must emphasize basic skill level responses to hazardous situations. The best prevention is the recognition of areas or situations we shouldn't be in, but preparedness requires us to know and master these skills. Maintenance of these skills is a career long process.

This week's drill covers 10 survival skills for all firefighters from donning SCBA to wall breeching/escapes.

This drill is downloadable as a PDF HERE.
