Drill of the Week: Vehicle Fires

Car fires are considered a bread and butter single-company operation in most departments. There are many hazards with these basic operations. Methods of attack will vary according to location of vehicle, terrain, exposures and amount of fire showing.

Consider all the possible hazards with car fire operations when making your attack and use the length of your stream reach to initiate attack. PPE is a must in all car fire incidents.
