Feel the Burn '07 Itinerary Update

Middle

Germantown (OH) firefighter Michael Manning, who will be bicycling across the country in May to raise money for the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors, has confirmed a number of stops along his route. You'll be able to find Michael at the following firehouses on the corresponding dates:

May 8th - Branford FD, Branford CT
May 19, 20 - Germantown FD, Germantown OH
May 23, 24 - Litchfield FD, Litchfield, IL
June 3 - La Veta FD, La Veta, CO
June 4 - Monte Vista FD, Monte Vista, CO
June 11 - Kanab FD, Kanab UT

In order to keep expenses down so that every dollar donated can go to burn survivors, Michael is personally purchasing everything for his ride (food, cycling gear, and so on) and is staying at local firehouses during the trek. Michael is still working to secure donors and firm up the rest of his itinerary; if you can help, contact him via e-mail

Michael plans to begin his ride on May 9 and finish on June 22, pedaling 70 to 140 miles per day, excluding rest days, from Boston, MA to San Jose, CA. Stay tuned to Fire Engineering for further updates from Michael's trip.
