Sperian Fire introduces $250,000 Warrior Try-On promotion at FDIC 2008

Middle

This year at FDIC, Sperian Fire will offer firefighters a chance to win $250,000 and other prizes.

"To thank firefighters for their input, support and initial field trials, we're launching the $250K Warrior Try-On. This promotion officially kicks off at FDIC 2008 at the Sperian Fire booth, #1428. It will run through July 31, 2008 or until 100,000 Try-On game pieces have been handed out, which ever comes first," said Jeff Shipley, Warrior product manager for Sperian Respiratory Protection.

In addition to $250,000, firefighters will have a chance to win other major prizes like a 5-star trip for two to Hawaii or the Caribbean, a Kawasaki ATV, a 50" HD TV, a $1,500 home improvement store gift card, video game consoles, and iPods.

Who can participate? Every firefighter is eligible, from linemen to chiefs, captains, and safety officers. All are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the $250K Warrior Try-On.

What do firefighters have to do to win? Just try on the Warrior and listen to a brief product orientation. Firefighters will then receive a game piece with a unique code. They can immediately log on to the Sperian Fire Web site, http://www.sperianfire.com/, fill in their contact information and enter their code. Within minutes, they'll know if they are winners.

For firefighters not attending FDIC 2008, Sperian Fire distributors will be visiting fire stations across North America with the Warrior and stacks of game pieces. Firefighters are encouraged to call their distributors, or call Sperian at 800-682-0839, to arrange a firehouse demonstration.

For more information, contact Jeff Shipley, Warrior product manager, at Sperian Respiratory Protection, 714 427 5320, or jshipley@sperianprotection.com.
