Crimson Fire adds FESCO Emergency Sales to growing dealer network
Crimson Fire, Inc. has added Maryland-based FESCO Emergency Sales to its growing dealer network.
The Brandon, South Dakota-based manufacturer of custom fire trucks and other rescue vehicles said that FESCO will cover Maryland, Delaware and a large portion of Virginia. The full-service dealership, which is based in Elkridge, Maryland, handles sales, service and parts for a broad range of fire trucks and other emergency-rescue vehicles. It features an in-house graphics department, mobile service units and loaner vehicles.
FESCO Emergency Sales operates two sales and service facilities totaling more than 25,000 square feet under roof, one located off of Interstate 95 between Washington and Baltimore, and the other located in Hanover County, Virginia. FESCO employs a team of EVT- & ASE-certified technicians, complete with multiple service vehicles, in order to keep their customers' fleet of emergency vehicles in service.
FESCO has sold and serviced emergency vehicles for more than 55 years. It has been recognized multiple times as a "Dealer of the Year" from other national emergency vehicle manufacturers, with its last award in 2007.
Started in 1953 by Walter E. 'Ed' Laake, FESCO is now owned and operated by second- and third-generation emergency vehicle specialists Peter Laake Sr. and Peter Laake Jr. The Laake family oversees the day-to-day operations of FESCO Emergency Sales, contributing to the design, sale and service of emergency vehicles.
FESCO's expanding customer base includes municipalities, volunteer fire companies and rescue squads, hospitals and private ambulance services. Over the years, FESCO has sold thousands of emergency vehicles.
