• Former ISFSI Executive Director Ed McCormack Passes
  "Big Ed" was best known to most in the fire and emergency services industry as the former Executive Director of the ISFSI (International Society of Fire Service Instructors) and former manager of the FDIC.
• R. David Paulison Named FEMA Director
  At a Washington, D.C. press conference held on April 6, 2006, Charlie Dickinson, Deputy U.S. Fire Administrator, announced that R. David Paulison has been named Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
