Problems typically involve the vehicle being sandwiched between other vehicles with as many as three additional exposures and the low ceiling height, which prevents venting of heat and reradiates heat back to the car and surrounding cars and also causes smoke to bank down and obscure visibility for operating personnel and occupants of fleeing vehicles.
