Nov. 2--SUFFOLK -- An early morning blaze destroyed a home in the 5600 block of Riverbluff Drive on Saturday, according to a news release from the city today.
No one was home at the time of the fire, which was reported about 5:30 a.m. It took firefighters two hours to bring the fire under control, and the one-story home was a complete loss, the news release said.
Damage to the house was estimated at $250,000.
The Fire Marshal's Office continues to investigate the cause of the fire.
