It's simple to download and listen to Fire Engineering's firefighter training podcasts. To download them to your computer, right click (or control + click, if you are using a Mac) on the "Play Now" button. Choose "Save Target As," then select where you want to save the file. You can then open up the file using a media player on your computer or move it to your iTunes library to place it on your iPod. Jack J. Murphy is a 29-year veteran of the fire service. He is the Principle of JJM & Associates, LLC., and is the retired fire marshal and former deputy chief of the Leonia (NJ) Fire Department. He is a certified State of New Jersey Fire Official/Fire Inspector and has been involved with codes for over 25 years. Jack served for two and a half years on the New York City Model ICC Building and Fire Codes Program. He is the NJ State Deputy Fire Coordinator (Bergen Region), the Vice-Chairman of the Fire Safety Directors Association (New York City), and serves on the National Fire Protection Association committees for High-Rise Building Safety and Pre-Incident Planning. He is an editorial advisory board member of Fire Engineering magazine.
