Please welcome Eddie Buchanan and Glenn Corbett. [APPLAUSE] Good morning. Once again, the International Society of Fire Service Instructors. And Fire Engineering, we're about to go in here, we're proud to present the George D. Post Instructor of the Year Award for 2011. This prestigious award celebrates the best and brightest in fire service training and education. And this year, we raised the bar yet again. Let's take a look at this year's winner. [BLANK_AUDIO] The International Society of Fire Service Instructors and Fire Engineering Magazine are proud to present the George D Post Instructor of the Year award for 2011. The George D Post Instructor of the Year award has a long and proud history of recognizing leaders in fire service education and training. George D. Post was an instructor and illustrator for the fire department of New York, known for his ingenuity and creativity in training firefighters. The 2011 instructor of the year is Brian Kazmierzak of the Clay fire territory in South Bend, Indiana. [UNKNOWN] chief Kazmierzak received a half of dozen nominations from his fire department. Fellow instructors, and peers from Ohio to California, including two previous Instructor of the Year winners, Billy Goldfetter and Forrest Reeder. Brian oversees Clay Fire Territories multiple training facilities, which include a command training center, live fire and training facility, and a regional rescue school, for urban search and rescue teams. You may not know Brian's name, but probably know his work. He's responsible for the daily operations of popular website FirefighterCloseCalls.com. Brian brings the vision of it's founders, Billy Goldfeder and Gordon Graham, to life. He personally loads stories, updates information and posts, a wide variety of photos that focus on firefighter safety. Through training. Firefighter Close Calls reaches more than 150,000 readers. Because of Brian's efforts, instructors and company officers around the world have access to up-to-date tactical information that when shared can save firefighters' lives. Like George D Post himself, Brian serves [MUSIC] This is an example of what a motivated instructor can do, when armed with vision, technology. And the passion to share life saving information with other firefighters and instructors. The International Society of Fire Service Instructors.
