Why R-O-M Lighting
[MUSIC] Previously we explained why increasing wattage and Lumen rating does not create more useable light. Then we conducted side by side field tests showing the magnifier outperforming the competition. Now let's consider the broader set of features that make ROM lighting systems unique. These customer inspired features improve response time, enhance worker safety, and minimize down time with industry best quality standards. [MUSIC] First lets consider the most critical dimension, enhanced worker safety. A firefighter's job is risky enough. So preventing workplace injury is vital. The ROM remote pole eliminates the need to climb on the truck to adjust the fixture angle. Twisted ankles, pulled muscles, slips and falls are avoided as adjustments are conveniently made from the safety of the ground. Another committment to safety is the locking cam latch, which keeps tripods fully secured to the vehicle. Other manufacturers incorporate a spring pin design, appearing to be locked. But a closer inspection proves otherwise. RON tripods provide superior balance and reduce tip overs by incorporating legs that are 200% larger than the competition. While safety is important, it doesn't take a back seat to real world use. Consider how ROM lighting systems improve performance in the field. For tripods, ROM provides a standard carrying handle which easily accommodates a gloved hand. Note here that gloved hands have no problem accessing or deploying ROM products. [SOUND] ROM tripods also improve productivity, by offering unique options. Like dual fixtures or enhanced visibility. Removing the fixture from the tripod for pinpoint placement on the ground. And a short length tripod that fits in most trunks. In addition to performing in the field, ROM mounts and fixtures greatly reduce downtime. As this time elapse demonstration highlights R.O.M. poles can be completely removed from service in less than 3 minutes thanks to this two piece collar. Similar competitive solutions require the removal of interior panels and weather proofing empty **** holes. Which can take up to an hour of shop time. Reducing downtime for routine maintenance like changing a lamp is further simplified by the RON design. Notice here how the magnifier provides unobstructed access to the lamp and requires a fraction of the time to change. Like a trusted partner, ROM lighting systems incorporate the highest quality standards, for years of service. All lighting systems must endure harsh elements, like road salt, ultraviolet light, ash, and soot. The paint on ROM fixture housings withstands these harsh elements due largely to the power coating process, which bakes the paint on, creating a thick barrier of protection. In addition, housings are randomly tested in this salt chamber for over one thousand hours to check for oxidation, rust and bubbling. Ara lamp poles and mounts retain their showroom shine over the lifespan of the truck through a process known as bright dip anodization. It's this process that helps the aluminum withstand scratching and oxidation. Fixtures and mounts are also tested as a complete system, not as separate components, using standards established by UL. Be sure to request these certifications from your Seamlite manufacturer. As a last measure of quality ROM meets or exceeds all testing recommendations established by NFPA. From enhanced worker safety to maximized performance in the field. ROM lighting systems provide the most usable light. To learn more about ROM Scene Lighting, visit emergencyscenelighting.com.
