All agencies have their triumphs, trials, and tribulations. Chief Dennis Rubin will be sharing some insight into the inter-workings of one of America's largest Fire & EMS Departments. Rubin will discuss various case studies that he and his senior staff faced during the four years of Mayor Adrian Fenty's Administration in Washington, DC. Chief Rubin will describe how these successes were leveraged into support for the department and how the bad & sometimes ugly issues were resolved. Rubin will describe what the outcome was of the solutions that were selected and implemented by the DCFD team. This program is based on a textbook that PennWell / Fire Engineering Books is publishing to be released in the spring of 2013.
