FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATIONS. Fourth Annual Convention of the Michigan State Firemen’s Association. [Reported for the NATIONAL FIREMAN’S JOURNAL, by our Special Correspondent.] FIRST DAY—MORNING SESSION. On Wednesday, May 1, at 11 A.M., the delegates to the Fourth Annual Convention of the Michigan State Firemen’s Association were called to order in the parlors of the Hubbard House, Jackson, Michigan, by President Thomas O’Neill, Chief of the Fire Department of Kalamazoo. Chief S. D. Pond, of Allegan, acted as Secretary. Chief C. V. R. Pond, of Quincy, moved the appointment of a Committee of three on Credentials. The motion prevailed, and the Chair appointed as such Committee, Chief Lake, of Jackson; Chief Pond, of Quincy, and Chief Drake, of Coldwater. The meeting, on motion, then adjourned to meet again at 3 P. M., in the Court House. AFTERNOON SESSION. Pursuant to adjournment, the Convention re-assembled at 3 P. M. in the Court House,…
