Anderson & Jones are making a specialty of their “Eureka” fire hat. It is very light and handsome, and popular with those who have seen it. The illustration in their advertisement gives a fair idea of its shape. The great fire in the “dry goods district” last Friday night was a severe test of the Eureka cotton hose in use in this Department. It was subjected to a great amount ot wear and tear, and to unusual pressure, yet it stood it splendidly.
