OBITUARY. WATERBURY, April 27.—Again we are called to record the death of a member of this Department. This time it was Ex-Foreman Edward F. Fenn, of Hose Company No. 3, who, after lingering on for several months with consumption, gently passed away on the 14th of April. His funeral took place on the 16th from his Brother’s residence in Bishop St., and was largely attended by the members of the Department, Hose Company No. 3 turning out thirty-six men, and the Chatfield Guards, of which he was also a member of, turned out with fifty men. The casket was covered with flowers. Among the floral offerings was a beautiful Fire Front of handsome roses, a token from Monitor Hose Company No. 3, of which he was a favorite member.
