RANDOM SPARKS —The Burlington, Vt., Department will have a tournament July 4. —Racine, Wis., now has a complete system of telephonic Fire Alarm. —St. Louis, Mo., complains of having had more than her share of fires this year. —The Chief Engineer of the Indianapolis Department has, up to date, issued 520 keys to the fire alarm boxes. —In the Decoration Day parade at Kenosha, Wis., the Fire Departme nt was one of the most attractive features. —The Board of Underwriters have offered a reward of $1000 for the detection and conviction of the Boston fire-bugs. —The men at the Fire Department Headquarters, in Indianapolis, will soon have a complete repair shop in operation. —John P.
