THE Eureka Fire Hose Company has recently purchased from the City of Brooklyn the splendidly located property a short distance from the Fulton Ferry and the Grand Entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge, known as the City Armory, corner of Henry and Cranberry streets. This building is built of brick and brown stone, 50 x 100 feet, four stories in height, of ornate design, and will be used as the future factory of their celebrated brands of fire hose, “Eureka,” “Paragon,” and “Red Cross,” so well known throughout the Fire Departments of this country.
