MICHIGAN STATE FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION. NINTH ANNUAL CONVENTION. Held at St. Louis, Mich., on Wednesday and Thursday, May 2 and 3, 1883. FIRST DAY. The Convention convened in the Opera House at two o’clock, p. m., and was called to order hy President Baxter. Chief Pond at the Secretary’s desk Chair appointed as a Committee on Credentials, Chiefs Burpee, Barbour and Kendall. J. L. Cressy, of Hastings, was appointed assistant secretary.
