OTHER MUNICIPAL WORKS. —Jacksonville, Fla., needs an enlarged sewerage system. — Dubuque, Ia., has voted adversely upon the sewerage question, —Rutherfordton, N. C., has voted $5000 for street improvements. —Orangeburg, S. C., contemplates the erection of a new city hall. —Milwaukee, Wis., will construct a 36-inch sewer from Reed street to Starke’s slip. —Corsicana, Tex., will issue $25,000 bonds for sewers and other city improvements. —Macon, G.i., contemplates issuing $60,000 bonds for sewers and street improvements. —The Boston (Mass.) Board of Aldermen has authorized the $250,000 Cambridge bridge loan. —The commissioners of Starke, Bedford county, Fla., will build a jail and want bids for materials. —W. Carter has been awarded the contract for the court house at Attleboro, N. C., for $15,750. —Winston, N. C., will issue $20,000 bonds for the sewerage system mentioned in a previous issue. —Walter Randall and Jerome B. Tuckcrman will make surveys for a system…
